Derek and Tara! It was so great to find your blog on the DHS one! I think that's awesome that Derek is teaching seminary and I can't believe he got his masters. Was it in Marriage & Fam? Or something else? Anyway, it was good to hear about you. I keep in touch with Sara Jarman (from the cohort) and I was wondering if you'd mind if I send her your blog address? Your girls are super cute. We have two girls, too, and love it.

Tara,

Unfortunately we aren't going to make it to the reunion. My hubby was unemployed for 7 months this last year (tough economy) We are still in recovery mode - poverty's icy fingers grabbed a hold of our accounts with a death grip. ha ha ha (no really we're doing fine but with the prices of gas, I think we'll skip) Darn it - it would have been perfect timing too ........ I wouldn't even have to sport a big huge baby belly this year. I hope you have so much fun wish we could see you there.

I'd love to add you to my blog links - I just need a full month with a good computer to sit down and input a bunch of changes. (I'll try and get right on that!) have a good one

Penny! We were both glad to hear from you. Of course you can pass along the blog address. The Masters was actually in "Counseling in Human Relations." but was actually very similar to the bachelors. (so much of the same info, re-learned!) We'd love to hear more about how you guys and your girls are doing too! Derek and Tara

Derek! (and Tara too) Penny sent me your address. It is so good to see how your family has grown over the years. You look like you are doing very well for yourself. I always knew you would go far. Good for you! My husband and I are in the adoption process through LDS and we are soo looking forward to the day when we will join you in the ranks of parenthood. Keep in touch. I hope you don't mind if I visit your blog from time to time.....

P.S. How is your sister Jenny doing? I don't think I have talked to her since Jr. High. Hope she is doing well.

Hey Sarah! I hope that you will not have to wait long with the adoption process. Whoever comes into your family will be blessed with an incredible mom! Jenny is doing great living about 15 minutes from me in Safford AZ. She has two little girls and is working at the hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. Best wishes!

Hey Derek and Tara- It's good to see you are both doing so well. Congrats Derek on your Masters, and your daughters are beautiful (but with you guys as parents, not much of a surprise!) I still think about you guys frequently. You may not realize it, but both of you made a strong positive impact on me, which I cherish and am grateful for. We are Arizona neighbors now (Gilbert). If interested you can check out our blog at kandajs.blogspot.com. Sincerely, Blake Shreeve
